Synopsis
After losing his parents at a young age, Nathan Gunn is taken in by the wealthy Larson family, who promise that when he grows up, he will marry one of their three daughters. Nathan grows up believing he belongs to their family and devotes years of loyalty and affection to them.
However, everything changes when a charismatic outsider named Elijah Scott appears. The Larson sisters gradually shift their attention and admiration toward Elijah, forgetting the promise they once made to Nathan. One by one, they withdraw from their commitment, leaving Nathan humiliated and heartbroken.
Feeling betrayed after years of devotion, Nathan chooses to move on with his life. Instead of waiting for people who no longer value him, he marries Zendaya Irwin, a woman who has quietly loved him for a long time. The Larson sisters initially believe the marriage is only a temporary act meant to provoke them.
But when they continue to favor Elijah and even give him the keepsakes left by Nathan’s parents, it becomes the final betrayal. Realizing that his love and loyalty were never truly appreciated, Nathan finally walks away—leaving the past behind and forcing those who once ignored him to face the consequences of their choices.
