Synopsis
The story follows Charlotte Chase, a modern woman who suddenly finds herself transported into the world of a romance novel. Unfortunately, she doesn’t become the heroine of the story. Instead, she wakes up in the body of the villainous female character—someone written only to make the novel’s main heroine look better.
Charlotte quickly realizes that the plot of the book is already predetermined, and according to the story, her character’s fate is tragic: she is destined to die at the end. Knowing exactly how the story unfolds, Charlotte decides she must change her destiny and escape the path written for her.
To survive, she tries to avoid the male lead, Fred, and stay away from the conflicts and power struggles that will eventually lead to her downfall. However, altering the story is not as easy as she thought. Every action she takes begins to create unexpected consequences, pulling her deeper into political schemes, romantic tension, and dangerous conspiracies within the novel’s world.
As Charlotte fights against the script that controls her fate, she must decide whether she can truly rewrite the story—or if destiny will always push her toward the ending that was written for her.
