Synopsis
The story follows Evelyn, a woman who believes she has a stable marriage until she returns home one day and discovers her husband caring for his first love, who is pregnant. The shocking betrayal destroys Evelyn’s trust and shatters the life she thought she had built.
During the confrontation, Evelyn suffers a severe allergic reaction, but her husband cruelly locks her in a room and ignores her suffering. The tragic incident leads to the loss of her unborn baby. Completely heartbroken, Evelyn finally realizes that the man she loved will never truly choose her, so she leaves him behind and begins rebuilding her life.
Determined to start over, Evelyn finds work at a friend’s architecture firm and slowly regains her independence and confidence. However, months later, fate brings her face-to-face with her former husband again at a symbolic love-lock bridge, the same place where they once promised eternal love.
Overwhelmed with regret, he begs for forgiveness and even threatens to end his life if she refuses to take him back. Now Evelyn must decide whether to forgive the man who destroyed her happiness—or finally close the chapter on a love that was never meant to last.
