Synopsis
The story follows Zoey, a devoted wife and mother who sacrifices her career and personal dreams to care for her family. Despite everything she does, her husband Carter constantly resents their marriage and even accuses her of trapping him. Meanwhile, their daughter Nora begins to believe Zoey is not the mother she wants, making Zoey feel increasingly isolated in her own home.
After enduring years of emotional neglect and a final painful betrayal, Zoey reaches her breaking point. She quietly signs the divorce papers and disappears from their lives without warning. Her sudden absence forces Carter and Nora to confront the harsh reality of how badly they treated her and the role they played in losing her forever.
As time passes, Zoey rebuilds her life, regaining her confidence, career, and independence. Meanwhile, Carter becomes overwhelmed with regret and desperately tries to win her back. However, Zoey realizes that the love she once gave so freely is something they only value now that it’s gone—and by then, it may already be too late for forgiveness.
The drama explores themes of emotional neglect, irreversible regret, and the importance of appreciating the people who love us before it’s too late.
